Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania and is now a Romanian/German actress. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16she already landed several television roles, including the lead role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was critically as well as critically acclaimed commercially.
