Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actress as well as a television host. Her most well-known work is the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. Born as the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu Alexandra, she entered the show business at an early age and was acting in lead roles on various shows on television by the time she was sixteen. The audience was impressed by her performance of Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominated movies featuring women. Over the years Alexandra was involved in numerous significant international and local projects. The projects she worked on include the British biographical Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historic Miniseries Napoleon. Also, she was on the jury for the Transylvania International Film Festival, and was also a juror at Cannes Film Festival.
