Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16, 1984, on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. The comedian has been on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, or Aisling "Bea" is an Irish actor and writer. She was born on the 16th of March 1984. Bea began her stand-up show in 2011, after appearing as a guest on a variety of Irish television shows and British series since 2009. In 2012, she began to regularly appear on sitcoms and sketch shows. After her victory in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel programs. She has been a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's an extremely popular contestant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She is the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her younger sister, was born. She was only the second ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. Bea, her maiden name, is a tribute to her father who passed away. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was a vet for horses that committed suicide aged three. But, she did not learn the cause of death until 13 years later. She chose the stage name Bea to honor her deceased father. She also wrote an article for The Guardian on her family's suicide experience. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were raised within the home of Helen Moloney who was a teacher and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. She and her family loved racing, horses and racing. Bea was a guide at her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her young years. However, she knew that it wasn't what she wanted to pursue for a living and that she was more interested in to perform.
